A credit is a unit of usage on EredoxAi. Every time you run a workflow, tool, or AI chain, you’ll be charged credits based on how complex the operation is.

Each execution has two components to its cost:

🧱 Fixed Cost (Per Execution)

Every time you run a tool or chain, you’ll be charged a fixed credit amount depending on your plan:

  • Free & Pro Plan: 4 credits

  • Team Plan: 3 credits

  • Business Plan: 2 credits

This covers essential infrastructure usage like system resources and database queries.

⚙️ Variable Cost (Per Step)

You’ll also be charged additional credits for:

  • Tasks involving external API providers (like OpenAI or TTS services).

  • Heavy compute operations such as embeddings or document parsing.

💡 Most internal AI tools and compute steps are free (for now).

🌐 Bring Your Own API Key (BYOK)

If you provide your own API key for services, we won’t charge you credits for that step.

Here’s where to get your own keys:

  1. OpenAI API Key
    https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys

  2. Google Cloud API Key (for NLP, TTS, etc.)
    https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/credentials

  3. ElevenLabs (Realistic TTS)
    https://elevenlabs.io → Login → Profile → API Key

  4. AssemblyAI (Transcription / Audio Analysis)
https://www.assemblyai.com/dashboard You can add these keys under your User Settings > API Keys.

🧮 Example Breakdown

You’re on the Business Plan, and you run a tool 1,000 times using 1,000 GPT tokens per run.

  • With your own OpenAI key:
    2 credits x 1,000 = 2,000 credits

  • Without your key:
    (2 fixed + 0.1 variable) x 1,000 = 2,100 credits

💬 Summary

  • Pay a fixed rate per execution + variable credits for premium tasks.

  • Bring your own API key to reduce usage cost.

  • Total transparency — no surprise charges.

AI agents are digital assistants powered by artificial intelligence that can perform specific tasks, make decisions, and interact with users — either automatically or based on your input.

While conventional software enables users to streamline and automate workflows, agents are able to perform the same workflows on the users’ behalf with a high degree of independence.

In simple terms:

An AI Agent = A smart virtual teammate that helps you get things done.

🔍 Types of AI Agents (in platforms like EredoxAi):

  1. Task-Based Agents
    Example: “Marketing Strategy Agent”
→ Creates campaign ideas, writes ad copy, analyzes trends.

  2. Conversational Agents (Chatbots)
    Example: “Customer Support Agent”
→ Answers customer questions, creates support tickets, responds 24/7.

  3. Data Agents
    Example: “Product Research Agent”
→ Scans product databases, competitor sites, or spreadsheets and gives insights.

  4. Automation Agents
    Example: “Invoice Generator Agent”
→ Generates and sends invoices automatically using your business data.

🧠 What Makes an Agent Smart?

  • Built on a large language model like GPT.

  • Trained or configured to handle specific workflows (marketing, eCommerce, writing, etc.).

  • Can use tools (APIs, file uploads, external apps).

  • Can store or remember your data (when enabled).
